69th Seminar on "Current International Economic Situation and Its Influence on China"

On May 19, 2022, SDRF and Shanghai International Studies University Shanghai Institute for Global Governance and Regional Studies co-hosted a video seminar "Current International Economic Situation and Its Impact on China". The meeting focused on the impact of the Fed's interest rate hike and balance sheet reduction on the global and Chinese economies; the rupture and restructuring of the industrial chain; the impact of financial sanctions on Russia by the United States and the West. The experts who spoke were Huang Jing, Distinguished Professor of Shanghai International Studies University, Director of the Institute of American and Pacific Regions of the Shanghai Institute for Global Governance and Regional Studies; Yao Yudong, Deputy General Manager and Chief Economist of Dacheng Fund; Liu Hongzhong, Professor, Shanghai Institute for Global Governance and Regional Studies; Yu Nanping, professor of the School of Politics and International Relations, East China Normal University; Xu Mingqi, vice chairman of Shanghai International Economic Exchange Center; Qiao Yide, Vice President and Secretary-General of SDRF.
