On June 27, 2025, the "2025 Forum on World and Chinese Economy" was grandly held in Shanghai，with the theme of "Implementation of the Two Sessions Policies and Measures to Cope with the Impact of High Tariffs from the United States", this forum brought together many experts and scholars to discuss the changes in the global economic landscape and new paths for China's economic development. The forum was hosted by SDRF and supported by Shangshan Capital and China Everbright Bank Shanghai Branch.
Zhang Liping, Vice Chairman of SDRF and former Chairman of Guosheng Group, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Tu Guangshao, Honorary Chairman of SDRF and Chairman of the Shanghai New Finance Research Institute, then gave a keynote speech on the theme of "The 'Triple Differentiation' Pattern of the United States and Its Impact on the World". Qiao Yide, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of SDRF, delivered a keynote speech on the topic of "Stablecoins: Misunderstandings and Correct Solutions".
The second half of the forum was a roundtable discussion. under the chairmanship of Secretary-General Qiao Yide, four scholars had an in-depth discussion. They are: Liang Zhonghua, Chief Macro Analyst of Cathay Haitong Securities, Xu Mingqi, Vice Chairman of Shanghai International Economic Exchange Center, Wu Qidi, Director of Yuanda Information Securities Research Institute, and Xia Chun, Chief Economist of Shangshan Capital.
The successful holding of this forum provides a platform for experts and scholars to exchange ideas and share experiences, and also provides useful ideas and suggestions for the Chinese economy to achieve high-quality development in the complex and changing global economic landscape.
